I've tried a number of different beta readers on fiverr and Kaycee gave me one of the best reader reports I've received yet. It's not just that she tells you "yes the characters are believable," or "yes I feel invested," she actually points out specific areas in the manuscript AND backs up with quotes from your work-in-progress that support what she is saying about your work. That kind of detailed feedback is so invaluable as I go back to revise. I will definitely be coming back to Kaycee for future beta reads!

Working with Kaycee was amazing, to say the least. She delivered pages and pages more feedback than I expected. I had very specific questions about my work, and she touched on each question in detail. This is someone who certainly knows the YA genre. She did not 'hold back any punches' so to speak - as I was asking for tough love in my Beta Read - but she also read deeply enough to share with me what was working in the manuscript, especially moments throughout the manuscript that stood out to her. I would certainly work with Kaycee again!

Great experience. I appreciated that Kaycee provided examples with both her positive and constructive feedback. It made it easy to understand what she was recommending for improvement (and why), and also helped the positive comments come across as genuine. Considering this is my THIRD time working with Kaycee and how it won't be my last, I hope that's proof enough that this woman is the beta reader you need! HIGHLIGHTS: She answered all my questions and THEN SOME, plus made inline comments with her reactions and suggestions that objectively improve the story (as opposed to giving suggestions that aren't helpful at all, which is what I've received from past beta readers). COMPLAINTS: We aren't friends in real life. Kaycee seems like such a well-rounded person who genuinely loves to read and write, and she's GOOD at it. I think if we had the chance to meet in person, we'd hit it off! People, take my word on this. Stop hesitating on hiring this woman! You won't regret it!
